Pastelblue flower necklace with earrings

This signed Sandor demi parure consists of a necklace with matching earrings.

The color of the set is ethereal: Pastel blue glass beads with a central motif of flowers and leaves of soft blue and green enamel on brass. The heart of each flower has a clear crystal.

The costume jewelry house Sandor became famous with her brass ornaments, which were enamelled in the most beautiful colors. Sandor mainly made brooches. Colliers, on the other hand, are very scarce.

The necklace with the same flowers as closure, has matching spring earrings with the same pattern in the same colors.

This Sandor demi-parure from the 1950s is in excellent condition.

The necklace has a length of 36 cm; the length of the extension chain can be adjusted to 41 cm.

The pattern of the necklace is 4.5 by 7 cm.

The earrings are 2 by 3.5 cm.

Sandor 1938-1972 The Sandor company was founded by Sandor Goldberger in 1938 and made jewelery designs in many different styles and materials. Head designer Beatrice Grace McGowan changed that in the early 1940s by creating truthful flower designs, made of sterling silver and colorfully enamelled. With these designs, Sandor distinguished herself from the other costume jewelry makers.
